License Agreement

All Copyrights to all download elements, e-books/albums, graphics, fonts, alphabets and papers belong to The PaperTrail Company and are for personal use only

By downloading The PaperTrail Company fonts, alphabets, e-books/albums, designs, images and graphics including free samples, you agree that they are the copyrighted and are the property of The PaperTrail Company, they are licenced to you as a single user, not sold to you. They Do Not become your property.

You have the right
  • To install and use the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics on a single computer.
  • To use the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics for your own PERSONAL use.
  • You may use The PaperTrail Company Downloads in part or in whole on any of your projects that will be submitted to any Crafting Publication, giving proper credit to The PaperTrail Company

Examples of Proper Consumer Product Use:

  1. Creating your own scrapbooking layouts or craft projects
  2. Posting layouts on the Internet (please share what you used in the layouts in your materials listing)
  3. Submitting layouts to magazines (please list what you used in the layouts when you submit)
  4. Creating a GIFT album to give to your mother for Mothers Day
  5. Creating designs which will be used to create a personal/family type website
  6. Making craft items you personally create such as cards, gift boxes, envelopes etc with the downloads you have purchased from The PaperTrail Company and offer them for sale or donate them to a charity for them to sell, this includes the free downloads.
You do NOT have the right
  • To share, loan, rent, resell, or distribute the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics.
  • To use the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics on more than one computer at a time.
  • To make copies of the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics other than for back-up purposes.
  • To copy by electronic means, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics for the purpose of resale or distribution.

Examples of Incorrect Consumer Product Use: (All of these situations require the purchase of Commerical licenses as they allow a shared use or profit-oriented/environment use)

  1. Sharing your supplies with anyone else
  2. Posting the supplies or file on the Internet
  3. Creating designs for any group
  4. Creating designs which will be used on a commercial website even if the designs themselves will not be sold
  5. Creating designs which will be used on an eBay template
  6. Creating designs which will be sold or profited from in any way
  7. Creating Card Toppers, Die-Cuts or other items for people to make their own cards and offer them for sale
  8. Printing out the items and selling them as printed sheets
  9. Creating designs which will be used to create a personal/family type website in which commercial activities or freebie give-a-ways occur

These examples are not to be considered complete lists but are use illustrations of correct/incorrect usage.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The Paper Trail warrants that your fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics shall be free from defects for 30 days from the time the fonts, images, designs and graphics are sent to you. If you detect a problem within 30 days please contact us. If you have any copyright questions please contact the Paper Trail Support

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Paper Trail company’s sole responsibility to you shall be to abide by the limited warranty as stated above. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall The Paper Trail Company be responsible for any damages or loss that result from the use of, or inability to use the fonts, alphabets, designs, images and graphics. If any legal action arises out of copyright infringement, The Paper Trail Company shall be indemnified and held harmless of any and all costs or damages that you or The Paper Trail Company incurs.
